LEGO BENZINSTANDERE
Although LEGO introduced Esso brand Benzinbil on 405 X Serie and 84X Serie in early 40.s, LEGO did not produce vehicles with wooden petrol pumps that have new oil filler hole design until late 1947. They also introduced nesv design of small biler at the same period.
For the new 54X serie 6Hj Benantbil ca. 1947-501 and 40s type (ca. 1948-52), LEGO made its very first Nr. 406 benzinstandere. After LEGO change 54X series biler to smaller 80X series, Nr. 406 benzinstandere was replaced by new Nr. 407 benzinstandere. They keep this production line until late 1957.
